OPENING BIBLE Psalm 95:1-5
“Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. In his hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land.”
SONG EVERY HOUR (Kanye West)
This is not everyone’s music genre, but this album impacted our younger generation. Kanye reminds us to “Sing till the power of the Lord comes down!”
PRAYER OF PRAISE
O Lord our God, we still have breath and so we praise you! Even though we are not gathering publicly for worship, we will still sing till the power of the Lord comes down! We are singing to you, Almighty Father. You are the Creator of the heavens and the earth. You are the provider and protector. We worship you and declare that you alone are worthy of our adoration!
Living Christ, on this day we celebrate your resurrection. You are a Living Savior! And because you are alive, we are alive. You are our living hope. Even during this difficult crisis with COVID-19, we live with hope because you are the Victorious One!
O Holy Spirit, you indwell us with the very presence of God. You anoint us with your power for life. You fill us with your peace in the midst of anxiety and uncertainty. You intercede for us when we don’t know what to say.
We worship you, Holy and Triune God!

OLD TESTAMENT READING Psalm 130
“Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord; O Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy. If you, O Lord, kept a record of sins, O Lord, who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness; Therefore, you are feared. I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I put my hope. My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning. O Israel, put your hope in the Lord, for with the Lord is unfailing love and with him is full redemption. He himself will redeem Israel from all their sins.”
SONG EYE HAS NOT SEEN (Marty Haugen – choir)
NEW TESTAMENT READING I Peter 1:3-9
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade—kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.”

BLESSING Romans 15:5-6
“May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
