OPENING BIBLE READING: John 1:29, 32-34
“The next day John the Baptist saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! Then John gave this testimony: “I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him. I would not have known him, except that the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is he who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’ I have seen and I testify that this is the Son of God.”

SONG: Living Hope (Bethel)

PRAYER OF PRAISE:
Worthy is the Lamb who was slain! We sing a new song to Him who sits on the throne.

We declare, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty. Who was and is and is to come.”
O Lord Jesus, You are our everything and we adore You.

Dear Father, You sent Jesus to set us free and to break every chain. Holy Spirit, You fill us with divine peace and living hope. Triune God, we worship you today by singing, “Hallelujah, praise the One who set me free! Hallelujah, death has lost its grip on me! There’s salvation in Your name.”
Lord Jesus, today is Palm Sunday. We crown you King of kings. We raise our hosanna in praise to you. You are the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

Thank you so much for your gift of salvation. Thank you for your grace that washes away all of our sin. Thank you for your love that pushes away all of our fear. Thank you for your peace that releases us from all of our anxiety. Jesus Christ, you are our living hope! Amen.

SONG: Hosanna (Palm Sunday)

OLD TESTAMENT READING: Isaiah 53:4-7
Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows,
yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted.
But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was upon him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way;
and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth;
he was led like a lamb to the slaughter,
and as a sheep before her shearers is silent,
so he did not open his mouth.

SONG: God Is (Kanye West)
This is not everyone’s music genre, but this album impacted our younger generation. Kanye
encourages us to “worship Christ with the best of your portions.”

NEW TESTAMENT READING: Hebrews 9:11-15
When Christ came as high priest of the good things that are already here, he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not man-made, that is to say, not a part of this creation.  He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption. The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean. How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God! For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance—now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.
