Psalm 95:1-7

Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.

Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.

For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods.

In his hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him.

The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land.

Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker;

for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care.


It Is Well With My Soul



Dear Father God, we live in uncertain times. There are so many changes happening, we are losing so much of our regular lives. But You, O Lord, are our refuge and anchor during these storms in life. Your peace is a like a river that flows through our lives. We feel these sorrows as large sea billows rolling over us. No matter what happens, we affirm our trust in you. We can declare “It is well with our souls”, not because we are able to handle this crisis but because you are handling this crisis.

Lord Jesus, you have regarded our helpless state in life, and you shed your own blood so that we can be forgiven. We praise you, O Lord Jesus, for paying the debt of our sin on the cross. We praise you, Lord Jesus, because you are the Risen Redeemer. Because you are alive, we also are alive with your new life.

Holy Spirit, you are our constant companion and comforter. You seal to us the peace of God. You assure us of God’s presence with us. We praise you and acknowledge that “it is well with our souls” because you are Almighty God and you carry us through every difficult situation. We pray this through Jesus our Lord, Amen.
