Brian is known for his love of the outdoors and hockey. He is actively involved in his community as a youth hockey coach and has played for a local men’s league team. Monthly, Brian goes north in order to enjoy God in the midst of His creation. He loves the quiet and solitude of God’s creation and spends time on prayer retreats in which he is able to keep his soul refreshed by God’s Holy Spirit.

Director of Worship and Fine Arts
Lauria enjoys music, arts, creative projects, kayaking and swimming. Through nature she finds rejuvenation and closeness to God and uses times outside in all kinds of weather to connect with the Lord. Music also is another key component of worship and connecting with the Holy Spirit for Lauria.
Lauria was born in Grand Rapids MI. She graduated from Hope College in Holland MI with a double Vocal Major in Vocal Performance and Music Education. She also has a minor in Instrumental Education and Religion. Graduate classes have been taken at Calvin, GVSU, and Walden University. Lauria has a Masters’ in Education.
Lauria teaches Choir, Drama, and Art at Kenowa Hills Middle School and enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews. Lauria has been at Immanuel Reformed Church for twenty-one years.

Director of Student Ministries K-12
Lisa is a native of Grand Haven, MI and loves the Great Lakes and all other displays of God’s glory in creation. She has served in ministry since 1990, part or full time according to the needs of her now adult children; Seth, Ethan, Grace and Anna. A retired classical dancer, she studied at New York University until God called her to ministry and a psychology degree at Grand Valley State University. She earned her Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Western Theological Seminary in Holland, MI. Lisa has a passion for equipping the next generations of believers to be effective ambassadors for the Kingdom among their peers, and within the multi-cultural society we are becoming. Lisa believes it is a great time to be a Christian because, “God is bringing the nations to US!” She loves Jesus, adventure, laughter and learning. She is a big Lord of the Rings fan and she collects swords. What more could a girl need?

Director of Buildings and Grounds
Mike has been on staff at IRC since May of 2017. He has over 15 years in property restoration, clean up and insurance liability experience. Mike attended Reformed Bible College and studied Christian Education and Youth Ministry. He was also licensed in Property and Casualty insurance, and certified in water and fire restoration. Mike and his wife Kristen and family attend Immanuel Reformed Church and live in Grand Rapids. His kids attend Forest Hills Northern. He enjoys kayaking, mountain biking, hiking and golf.

Candice has been a church secretary since 2003. She has lived in the beautiful Grand Rapids area her entire life. Candice and her husband have been married since 1991 and have four daughters. While she loves to travel, she loves coming home even more. She enjoys spending time with friends, family and extended family relaxing together, playing cards, and camping. Recently she recently learned to golf. She also enjoys using her love of cooking and baking in serving others.
