Children's Ministries at Immanuel
Children at Immanuel have many opportunities to learn about God in a fun, kid-friendly environment surrounded by leaders who care for them. Our vision statement for children’s ministry is to “Reach kids, teach kids and watch them grow. Then, encourage them to share what they know.”
Building connections with children is a priority and then teaching them about the love of God through a variety of methods is the focus. It is our hope that as they listen to stories, sing songs, make crafts, play games or during other activities their relationship with Jesus Christ will grow.
Children preschool through 2nd grade are dismissed during worship to share in special worship geared just for them! The children will hear and experience a Bible story, engage in wonder, then have some response time. Children meet in the lobby, then are led to the Carousel (lower level) for their worship time.
We have Sunday school classes for children Preschool through 5th grade. Loving, Spirit-filled teachers lead our children’s classes. We learn about Jesus, grow closer to one another, and have a lot of fun! Currently, we are using David C. Cook curriculum. Classes meet from September through mid-May in classrooms off the Carousel (1st-5th) and upstairs in the Tiny Tots room (pre/K).
Wednesday Evening Activities
We have rockin' Wednesdays! Children preschool through 5th grade meet in the Carousel for an evening of games, crafts, lessons, and being with our friends! All children meet together for our Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:00PM.
