Mission first. People always. 
“It’s news I’m most proud to proclaim, this extraordinary Message of God’s powerful plan to rescue everyone who trusts him, starting with Jews and then right on to everyone else!” (Romans 1:16)
God’s mission of spreading the Good News about Jesus is the first priority of Immanuel. People are always important because God loves people. However, when decision need to be made, they are first made based upon God’s mission. People bear the image of God and so we always love all people. God’s mission will not be fulfilled without people. But God’s mission is our first priority.
